GUNTUR, JUNE 5. A 22-year-old housewife, Jampani Anita, died of severe burns at the Government General Hospital in Guntur on Saturday after she was allegedly set on fire by her husband, Jampani Ramesh, 28, a junior lawyer of the High Court in Hyderabad. She was set on fire at their house in Sattenapalli town on June 1. Anita and Ramesh got married in 2002 and later she was allegedly harassed by husband when questioned about an extra-marital affair he had at Hyderabad. Three held on murder charge: Three persons were arrested on Saturday for their alleged involvement in the murder of a youth Nandigama Kiran Kumar at Nagarjuna Nagar in Sattenapalli on May 26. In a group clash as part of gaining control over the management of the Lutheren Church, Maria Das along with his relatives and friends had allegedly killed Kiran on that day.
