Coaching for ST students

BIDAR, JUNE 5. The Tribal Welfare Directorate will impart coaching to candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes appearing for competitive examinations.

According to a press release, institutes will be identified to provide coaching for UPSC examinations, subordinate service examinations, entrance tests for professional courses, and Railway Recruitment Board examination.

Institutes in district headquarters and in Bangalore city will be selected for the programme.

Candidates already undergoing coaching in institutes can also apply.

The selected candidates will be paid a stipend.

Applications may be obtained from the district office concerned or from the office of the Director, Scheduled Tribe Welfare Directorate, Krishi Bhavan, II floor, Bangalore-1.

Filled-in applications should be sent to Social Welfare Officer, Tribal Welfare Office, Project Co-ordinator, India Tribal Development Project in the districts, or to the head office in Bangalore, says a press release.
