Harishankar Rai sets National mark

KOLKATA, JUNE 5. Harishankar Rai set a new national mark of 2.20 metres in high jump in the 54th West Bengal State amateur athletics championship here on Saturday.

The 18-year-old, an employee of the Eastern Railway, erased the old record of 2.17m set by Chandrapaul Rathi of Punjab in 1993. — PTI
