Sai Teja scalps six

HYDERABAD, JUNE 5. Fine bowling by Sai Teja (six for nine) helped Gowtham Model School record an eight-wicket win over NRCA in the under-11 category preliminary round of the Persis Gold Cup sub-junior cricket tournament being organised by the St. Patrick's High School here on Saturday.

Under-11: Sportive CA 71 (Hitesh 30, Tejas three for 18) lost to NRCA 72 for two (Sumit 56 not out).

CCA 65 (Younus three for 12) lost to Supercat CCA 66 for two (Khurram 30 not out). Arshad Ayub CCA 97 (Vipul 43, Naidu three for 12) bt Sarojini CFA 86 (Vipul three for 11).

Rising Stars CA 111 for five (Ravi 53) lost to Sports Coaching Foundation, Masab Tank, 115 for two (Arun Deva 34, Nazar 30 not out).

Under-13: NRCA 48 (Sai Teja six for nine) lost to Gowtham Model School 49 for two (Dharampal 31).

Sarojini CFA 146 for nine (Abhinay 37, P.Akshat Reddy three for 29, Pranay three for 32) lost to All Saint's HS 147 for two (K.Srikkanth 51, P.Akshath Reddy 52 not out).

RSCA 221 for six (Rohan Surana 32, Sandeep Goud 80 not out, Suresh 34, Nazer three for 42) bt Sports Coaching Foundation, Masab Tank, 147 for seven (Sharif 51, Arun 32, Sridhar three for 21, Srinidhi three for 32).— Our Sports Reporter
