KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 5. Refuting the allegations levelled by the District Chamber of Commerce and Trade president, Yada Anjaiah, about corruption in Commercial Taxes Department, the Telangana Commercial Taxes NGO's association convenor, Md. Mujahid Hussain dubbed them baseless. "Mr. Anjaiah evaded taxes by producing bogus certificates, forging the signature of a chartered accountant,'' he alleged. Mr. Mujahid said Mr. Anjaiah threatened the officials of the department and issued notices on bogus claims when the forgery case was bought to his notice. He also demanded that Mr. Anjaiah prove the charges levelled against the department.
