Regulatory orders

COIMBATORE June 5. The City Police Commissioner, Sanjay Arora, has clamped regulatory orders under Section 41 of the Madras City Police Act prohibiting processions, demonstrations and assemblies by persons belonging to different political, communal and social ideologies in the 12 police station limits in the city till June 18, according to a release.

Training

The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association and the St. John Ambulance Association, Coimbatore District Centre, will conduct part-time training in first-aid for eight days from June 7.

The Peetadhipathi of Sri Raghavendraswamy Mutt, Mantralayam, Sri Sushameendra Theertha Swami, will be in the city from June 7 to 10.

According to a release, he is arriving here in connection with the Pratheshtapana of Sri Raghavendraswamy Moola Mirthika Brindavana on June 9 at Q 58, Kovaipudur.
