Seminar on peace

KOCHI, JUNE 5. Lasting peace can be attained only if the desire for power is abandoned, the former judge of the Supreme Court, V.R. Krishna Iyer, has said.

He was inaugurating a seminar on `Peace culture among power games' organised jointly by the Fellowship for Reconciliation India and Cultural Academy for Peace at Gandhi Bhavan here today. The Mahatma Gandhi University Vice-Chancellor, Cyriac Thomas, presided and the Social Welfare Secretary, Lida Jacob, offered felicitations.
