KOCHI, JUNE 5. Lasting peace can be attained only if the desire for power is abandoned, the former judge of the Supreme Court, V.R. Krishna Iyer, has said. He was inaugurating a seminar on `Peace culture among power games' organised jointly by the Fellowship for Reconciliation India and Cultural Academy for Peace at Gandhi Bhavan here today. The Mahatma Gandhi University Vice-Chancellor, Cyriac Thomas, presided and the Social Welfare Secretary, Lida Jacob, offered felicitations.
