KOCHI, JUNE 5. Two brothers, Kaja Hussain (31) and Shoukat Ali (20) of Vadakumpuram house, Aroor, Alappuzha, were crushed under a lorry parked near Ambalam junction, Aroor, after a speeding tanker lorry rammed into it this evening. The police said the lorry hit the deceased while they were waiting at the traffic signal point near Ambalam junction on their bike. Both of them were rushed to the Lakeshore Hospital minutes after the incident. Abdul Karim (47), driver of the tanker lorry, was also admitted to the hospital with injuries. Hospital sources said that his condition was stable. The police said the tanker lorry bound for Ernakulam lost control and hit the lorry parked near the traffic signal. The parked lorry moved a considerable distance before hitting the bike in which Hussain and Ali were travelling. The driver of the lorry that was parked near the signal escaped unhurt.
