THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. June 5. Activists of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha tried to block the car carrying the Education Minister, Nalakath Soopy, this morning at the gates of the Secretariat. They shouted slogans against the Minister and the Government even as security personnel shut the gate near the Cantonment police station. The Yuva Morcha activists were arrested and later let off. A Yuva Morcha press note issued here today said the police, which had arrested the Yuva Morcha activists who had been protesting in a peaceful manner, showed no such enthusiasm in arresting those who had indulged in goondaism the other day in the presence of the Chief Minister.
