BANGALORE, JUNE 5. The YMCA Task Group On Ecology and Environment in association with the Lions Club of Bangalore Orchards organised an awareness programme as a part of World Environment Day at the YMCA stadium. About 200 students from different schools across the city and some street children were part of this. Puneet Rajkumar, cine actor, inaugurated the programme. "Such environmental community-based programmes are very important as the present generation has a long way to survive in this world," said J. Alexander, YMCA President and former Minister.
