Some roads to become one-way

BANGALORE, JUNE 5. The Commissioner of Police, S. Mariswamy, today passed orders making some roads in Commercial Street and Ashok Nagar police station limits "one way" from Monday.

Commissariat Road: Movement of vehicles from Shoppers' Stop to Mayo Hall on Commissariat Road has been banned. Parking of vehicles on either sides of Commissariat Road is also prohibited.

Vehicles coming from D'Souza Circle should take a left turn at Shoppers' Stop junction, enter Magarath Road and pass through Brigade Road to reach Mayo Hall (Residency Road).

Primrose Road: Movement of vehicles from Mahatma Gandhi Road to Police Officers' Mess junction on Primrose Road has been banned. Parking has been prohibited on the entire stretch of Primrose Road and part of Magarath Road (from Brigade Road junction to Police Officers' Mess). Parking is allowed for six autorickshaws in front of Shoppers' Stop.

Dispensary Road: Movement of vehicles from Kamaraj Road-Dickenson Road junction to Alice Jewellery circle (East to West) on Dispensary Road has been prohibited. Vehicles will not be allowed to proceed towards Hospital Road and Cubbon Road from Main Guard Cross Road.

Vehicles coming from Commercial Street and Narayana Pillai Road should take a left turn and enter Dispensary Road and proceed towards Kamaraj Road or Dickenson Road.

Vehicles proceeding from Dickenson Road to Hospital Road should take a left turn at Kamaraj Road-Dispensary Road circle, enter Kamaraj Road, take right turn at Kamaraj Road-Cubbon Road junction and proceed on Main Guard Cross Road to reach Hospital Road.
