HYDERABAD, JUNE 5. The Uttar Bharti Sangh (UBS) has appealed to the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, to provide fish free of cost for scores of people coming to the city to take the fish medicine given by the Bathini Goud family as a `goodwill gesture'. In a press release here on Saturday, Ashok Singh, chairman and N.K. Singh, president, said that each murrel fish costs Rs. 6 and the total cost for the estimated seven-lakh people would be Rs. 35 lakhs. They also appealed to the APSRTC to run free services to the Exhibition Grounds from the railway stations of Secunderabad, Nampally and Kacheguda as also the Jubilee and Imlibun bus terminals. The UBS has made elaborate arrangements for free distribution of `upma', `puri-bhaji' and `pulihora' to the people on June 7, 8 and 9 at the Exhibition Grounds. Free accommodation and other assistance too would be provided, they added.
