Petition against Thomas panel recommendations

KOCHI,
JUNE 7.
A writ petition has been filed before the Kerala High Court challenging the order of the K. T. Thomas Committee fixing the fee structure for self-financing medical college seats in the State. The Commission had fixed a maximum annual tuition fee of Rs. 1,13,000 and Rs. 76,000 for MBBS and BDS courses respectively in the self-financing medical colleges in the State for three years from the 2004 academic year.
