Ashok Leyland May sales up

CHENNAI: Ashok Leyland has achieved higher sales of 3,905 vehicles in May against 2,946 vehicles in the same period last year. Total sales for April-May 2004 have risen to 7,230 vehicles from 4,572 vehicles. Sales of medium duty passenger vehicles in the domestic market were 657 vehicles in May against 750 vehicles and that of MDV goods at 2,916 vehicles against 1,964 vehicles, according to a company release.
