Avinash wins title

HYDERABAD, JUNE 7. Avinash Chouhan of Chaitanya Jr. College won the title by scoring maximum points out of five rounds in the 23rd Sunday chess tournament, conducted by Chess Academy of Andhra Pradesh, at Vijay Public School.

Important results (fifth round): Avinash Chouhan (5) bt Rajasekhar Reddy (4); T. Sai Pavan (4.5) bt Prasanth (3); K. Sampath Kumar (4.5) bt S. U. Lakshma Reddy (3); V. Karthik (4) bt K. Vikram (3); M. Hemanth (4) bt R. Chanakya (3).
