Letters to the Editor
Sir, The Manmohan Singh Government will be on a firmer moral footing if it is not burdened with chargesheeted Ministers. This may be a good opportunity for Dr. Singh to strip these Ministers of their positions. The Opposition parties' indignation at the inclusion of such Ministers, however hypocritical, is justified. But the manner in which they are protesting is neither dignified nor does it augur well for our democracy.
S. Srinivas,
Sir, The composition of the Union Council of Ministers fills me with shame. How can we let "tainted" Ministers dictate terms to us? Even the Prime minister and the President are silent on this issue.
S. Praveen Reddy,
Sir, After all the accolades poured on Dr. Singh, let not it be said at a future date that he was a Prime Minister who had in his Cabinet persons with criminal cases against them.
A. Ranganathan,
