Tata Chemicals net at Rs. 221 cr.

MUMBAI, JUNE 8. Tata Chemicals Ltd. (TCL) has announced a net profit of Rs. 221 crores for the year ended March 31, 2004 against Rs. 196.58 crores, an increase of 12 per cent. However, the results for the current year include Hind Lever Chemicals (HLCL), which was merged with TCL earlier, and are therefore not comparable with the previous year.

The board has announced a dividend of Rs. 5.50 per equity share.
