Shops burgled

PONDICHERRY, JUNE 8. Three shops on Jawaharlal Nehru Street here were burgled last night. According to the police, the burglars got away with cash from a photo studio, a leather goods store and a khadi cloth shop.

It is suspected that they gained entry after breaking into the ceiling. A case has been registered.
