Three-day cultural show inaugurated

CHENNAI,
JUNE 8.
A three-day `Salangai Vizha' organised by the Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nataka Manram with a focus on providing encouragement to different forms of cultural performances was today inaugurated by the Manram president, P.B. Srinivas.
Mr.Srinivas wanted support for lesser-known artistes and appealed to Chennaites to attend the cultural exposition to express their motivation. He gave an account of the manram activities.
R. Kasinathan, Commissioner, Department of Art and Culture, sought the support of the public and music lovers to cultural shows organised by the Government. The festival is being held at the Mylapore Fine Arts Club and admission is free.
Kunnakudi R. Vaidyanathan, member-Secretary highlighted the importance of the exposition.
