The pushkaram ad hoc committee met here on Monday to discuss sanitation in the city during the pushkarams. The Mayor, Panchumarthy Anuradha, chairman of the committee presided. In a press release the Mayor said several decisions were taken by the committee at the meeting. It was decided that VMC should print and distribute 25,000 pamphlets and put up 5,000 posters to educate citizens about the steps and precautions they need to take to maintain sanitation.
