APSRTC regains title

VISAKHAPATNAM, JUNE 8. APSRTC regained the title, while Cargo Handlers Pool finished runner-up in the VDCA second division institutions league championship here on Tuesday. APSRTC logged 22 points while Cargo Handlers got 20 points.

Cargo Handlers beat NAD by 196 runs in the last league match.

The scores: Cargo Handlers Pool 361 in 44.4 overs (Ramudu 77, Mahesh 71, Ramana 53, Sher Singh five for 133, Krishna Rao four for 137) bt NAD 165 in 38 overs (A. Krishna Rao 73, N. Kumar 25, Appa Rao five for 27).
