MANGALORE, JUNE 8. A.S.N. Hebbar, Rotary International District 3180 Governor-elect, has asked Rotaractors to take an active part in the Rotaract movement and propagate the ideals and objectives of the club. He hoped that they would make an effort to become involved in community development projects. Delivering the inaugural address at the 25th Rotaract Club Assembly, "Avishkar 2004," here recently, Mr. Hebbar has asked Rotaractors to fight corruption and terrorism. He also urged the members of the club not to enter politics. He appealed to the members to try and provide employment opportunities and work towards eliminating economic inequality from society. Mr. Hebbar installed Suresh as the district Rotaract representative and released the club directory. Madhusudhan Upadhya, president of Rotary Club Mangalore Central, who presided over the meeting, urged the office-bearers to open more clubs and induct new members to spread the Rotaract movement. Mr. Suresh solicited the support of the members to take up community development projects and help improve social infrastructure. Lohith Shetty, President of Rotaract Club welcomed the gathering.
