THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JUNE 8. As many as 33 bus passengers, including 13 women, were injured, when two KSRTC fast passenger buses collided at Kochulloor junction on Tuesday afternoon. None of the injured persons was in a serious condition.
Woman found dead
A 53-year-old woman was found dead in mysterious circumstances at her house near Panangattukara in Neyyatinkara police station limits on Tuesday morning. The police identified the deceased as Vimala, wife of Maniyan. An official said all domestic animals in the house, including hens and dogs, were also found dead. The police suspect poisoning to be the cause of the deaths. Vimala is survived by her six children and husband who is a wholesale fruitseller in Neyyatinkara town. In two separate incidents, two men were found hanging at their houses this morning. Byju (32) was found hanging in his house at Mannanthala in the city on Tuesday. He was employed at a video rental outlet in the city. Jews Patrose (24) was found hanging in his house at Kannanthura this morning. Cases of un-natural deaths have been registered.
