RTC union for plan to curb private buses

HYDERABAD,
JUNE 8.
The APSRTC Staff and Workers' Federation has asked the Transport Department officials to come out with a strategic and comprehensive action plan to effectively curb the illegal operation of private bus services in the State.
The Transport Department officials are scheduled to meet here shortly to chalk out an action plan to contain private bus operators following directions from the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, on the issue after the federation leaders apprised him of the problem, its general secretary R. Lakshmaiah said in a statement here on Tuesday.
