Letters to the Editor
Sir, This refers to the editorial, "Revisiting Kargil" (June 9). Someone has to be made accountable for the lapses. The decision not to use air power was a military catastrophe. We committed the same mistake in 1962. There is an established agency to provide external intelligence. Why did it fail? We have a right to know.
Air Commodore (retd.) V.V. Nair,
Sir, If the compulsions of national security necessitated combat aircraft to overfly the Line of Control, why was it not done?
V.B.N. Ram,
