Blackwill award for Tarun Das
NEW DELHI: The U.S. India Business Council yesterday awarded Tarun Das, Director General, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the prestigious Robert Dean Blackwill Award, for his contribution towards developing new, mutually supportive relationships between India and the U.S.
According to a CII release, Mr. Das received the award from Rajat Kumar Gupta, Chairman, U.S. India Business Council (USIBC), and Senior Partner-Worldwide, McKinsey and Company, yesterday, in Washington DC. Mr. Das received the award along with Kenneth I. Juster, Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security, U.S. Department of Commerce.
