Kalam condoles Reagan's death

NEW DELHI,
JUNE 9.
The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has condoled the death of the former U.S. President, Ronald Reagan.
In a message to the U.S. President, George W. Bush, Mr. Kalam said: "We in India have received the sad news of the passing away of President Ronald Reagan with a deep sense of sorrow and grief.
"President Reagan was known for his vision, convictions and deep and abiding patriotism. His contribution to improving the lives of the American people, his support for better India-U.S. relations and his historic achievements in the sphere of international relations will always be remembered."
