By Our Special Correspondent
KOZHIKODE, JUNE 9. The Crime branch police in Kozhikode have taken over the case relating to the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl, Soorya. The case which was being investigated by a Dy.SP. in Kalpetta in Wayanad district has been handed over to the crime branch as ordered by the Kerala High Court. Soorya, daughter of Sree Rangan, Pathoor Estate, Rattakolli, Kalpetta, has been missing since June 23 last year. She left her house in the morning for school where she was to appear for interview for admission to a Plus-One course. Soorya never reached the school but was seen travelling in an autorickshaw. Investigations to trace her have been in vain.
