Another farmer ends life

RAJAHMUNDRY, JUNE 9. One more farmer, Adigarla Ramababu (45) of Kottakottam village in Kotananduru mandal in East Godavari district committed suicide by consuming pesticide, reportedly because of mounting loans, on Wednesday.

With this, the number of suicide cases of farmers in the district had gone up to six.

Rambabu had two acres of dry land, but because of drought conditions in the last two years he could not produce anything on that land. His debts, however, mounted to Rs.1 lakh.
