UDF to probe Muvattupuzha poll defeat

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
JUNE 9.
The United Democratic Front (UDF) is enquiring into the allegation that two of its constituents had undermined the chances of the Kerala Congress(M) candidate in the Lok Sabha election, Jose K. Mani, in the Muvattupuzha constituency, the Revenue Minister, K.M. Mani, said here today.
The UDF leadership meeting had called for an enquiry into the defeats in Muvattupuzha and Adoor constituencies. He believed that some UDF leaders had worked against Jose K. Mani. He was not commenting further on the subject, as the UDF had taken cognisance of the matter. The UDF convener had reported complaints in that respect to the meeting.
