IISc claims title

BANGALORE, JUNE 9. Indian Institute of Science Faculty Club claimed the title in the Century inter-club handicap snooker championship, here recently. In the final, IISc defeated the defending champion, KSBA `B' 740-701.

Good performances by skipper Sharath Ahuja and N. C. Shivaparakash marked IISc's win. Sharath Ahuja was also adjudged the `Player of the Tournament.' B. N. Garudachar, president of the Century Club, presided and gave away the prizes.
