Additional coaches

MADURAI, JUNE 9. In order to clear extra rush of passengers, the Southern Railway plans to attach additional coaches to three pairs of trains.

With effect from June 11, two second-class (sitting) coaches will be attached to the Madurai-Chennai Egmore-Madurai Vaigai Superfast Express and a sleeper-class coach will be added to the Chennai Egmore-Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore Nellai Superfast Express trains. A sleeper- class coach will be attached to the Tuticorin-Bangalore and Bangalore-Tuticorin Express trains from June 12 and 13.

Stoppage extended

The stoppage provided to the Nagercoil-Tirupati-Nagercoil Express at Srirangam will continue up to June 30, according to a railway release.
