MADURAI, JUNE 9. In order to clear extra rush of passengers, the Southern Railway plans to attach additional coaches to three pairs of trains. With effect from June 11, two second-class (sitting) coaches will be attached to the Madurai-Chennai Egmore-Madurai Vaigai Superfast Express and a sleeper-class coach will be added to the Chennai Egmore-Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore Nellai Superfast Express trains. A sleeper- class coach will be attached to the Tuticorin-Bangalore and Bangalore-Tuticorin Express trains from June 12 and 13.
Stoppage extended
The stoppage provided to the Nagercoil-Tirupati-Nagercoil Express at Srirangam will continue up to June 30, according to a railway release.
