THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JUNE 9 . In connection with the first World Blood Donor Day, which is being celebrated globally on June 14, Terumo Penpol Ltd, in association with the All Kerala Blood Donors' Society and the Sri Chitra Institute of Medical Science & Technology (SCTIMST), proposes to honour those who donate blood regularly. The criterion for the donor award will be minimum 10 donations during the past five years, according to a press release here. There will be prizes for those who have donated blood more than 50 times, between 25 and 50 times, and more than 10 times. The purpose of the day is to thank the world's blood donors.
