Seminar: A seminar on the restructuring of the curriculum for B.Ed. courses will be held at the Karmala Rani Training College, Kollam from 10 a.m. onwards on June 11. The Dean of the Faculty of Education, K. R. Sivadasan, and the Head of the Department of Education, V. Viswanathan Nair, would participate in the seminar.

Examinations postponed: The fourth semester MSW/MTA examinations scheduled to commence in June 21, have been postponed to July 2 and July 5. The examinations will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

B.Ed. admission: The rank list for admissions in the merit seats in the unaided B.Ed. colleges, including those who responded to invitations for applications by the principals of these colleges, has been published.

The counselling will be held on the Senate house campus on June 14 and 15. Candidates figuring in the merit list who have not received any notification in this matter should get in touch with the registrar.

Inauguration: Four new certificate courses of the Centre for Adult Continuing Education and Extension (CACEE) - TV News Reading and Anchoring, Library and Information Science, Travel and Tourism Management, Yoga and Meditation - will be inaugurated on June 10, by the Syndicate member, Koliakode Krishnan Nair, at a function to be held at the auditorium of the University Library.

Last date: The last date for submitting applications for getting the university's affiliation for the year 2005-06 is August 31.

Guest faculty: The CACEE requires guest faculty to handle classes for the PG certificate course in counselling.

Those who have experience teaching at the post-graduate level and those who are retired teachers can apply.

Applications, along with a bio-data, may be sent to the CACEE director before June 19.
