BANGALORE, JUNE 9. The Government should work towards building a citizen-friendly society, critic and former president of the Kannada Development Authority, G. Narayana, has said. Speaking at a seminar on "New government's duties towards public," organised by the Karnataka Culture and Social Forum here today, Mr. Narayana called upon governments to provide an efficient administration. He said ruling parties should fulfil promises made to the people during elections. P.V. Narayana, critic, said Kannada should be made mandatory in all schools.
