MYSORE, JUNE 10. The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club held an enquiry into the running and riding of Megistos (B.L. Paswan up) in the Red Satin Plate run on June 9. They decided to suspend B.L. Paswan from June 19 to 30 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding. Rajinder, rider of Flaming Tower in the Malavalli Plate (Div. II), was fined Rs. 2,000 for not making sufficient efforts to improve his position until entering the straight. The Stewards considered the enquiry report of the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the running and riding of B. Shiva-trained Maurya by C. Krishnan in the Capt. Nabi Khan Memorial Plate (Div. I) run on June 2. After due deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend Krishnan from June 19 to 26 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding. The Stewards also considered the enquiry report by the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the running of So Thrilled trained by Subani in the T.V. Reddy Memorial Trophy run on June 2. The Stewards decided to fine trainer Subani Rs. 10,000 for negligence in discharge of his duties as a licensed trainer and also for running his charge, So Thrilled, in an unfit condition in the above race.
