PATHANAMTHITTA, JUNE 10. The noted cardio thoracic surgeon, K.M. Cherian, has said the increase in the number of cardiac cases in the State is mainly due to the changed life style in modern times. Dr. Cherian was addressing a press conference at the Cario-Vascular Centre attached to the Mar Gregorios Mission Hospital at Parumala here today. He said hypertension and diabetics were the two major health problems leading to cardiac ailments in man. The hospital administrator, Abraham Koodarathil, was also present.
