CUDDAPAH, JUNE 10. The All-India Students Federation (AISF) national vice-president, G. Easwaraiah, said on Thursday that AISF members conducted `rythanna chaitanya cycle jatha' by forming 100 groups and covering nearly 800 villages in the three-day campaign to urge farmers not to commit suicide. Participating in a `jatha' at Chennur, Mr. Easwaraiah said the student body had taken up the farmers' cause as a social responsibility and striven to infuse confidence among them.
