Gulf Oil Monsoon rally
MUMBAI,
JUNE 10.
Restriction on number of entries to 40, new course around the backwoods of Mumbai and prizes for first-time performers in men's and women's sections were announced at a curtain-raiser to the 14th Gulf Oil Monsoon scooter rally on June 20.
Participation is open to any brand of two-wheeler, amateurs also can compete, provided vehicle submitted for entry fulfils basic rally conditions. The prize money is Rs 45,000, apart from awards in other forms, with standard entries closing on June 11 (5 p.m.) and late entries accepted on June 17 (up to 1 p.m.).
Organised by Sportscraft under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the monsoon scooter rally is being sponsored by Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd.
