Kambli, Jadeja for U.S. league
MUMBAI,
JUNE 12.
As many as 24 Indians, including Vinod Kambli and Ajay Jadeja, will participate in the USA's Pro-Cricket League this year.
The 20-overs-a-side matches will feature former Test and one-day players, as well as domestic stars.
The players will be given the option of committing for as many games as they like, a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) source said.
Former India batsman, Anshuman Gaekwad, was the go-between for the organisers and the players, the source said.
Players like Sanjay Bangar, Deep Dasgupta and Nikhil Chopra will also play in the league.
Since this is not an official league, permission from the BCCI will not be required, the source added. UNI
