Differences to the fore

Differences between the former Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Ch Vidyasagar Rao, and the State BJP vice-president and former Peddapalli legislator, G Ramakrishna Reddy, came to the fore in the presence of the former Union Minister of State for Urban Development, Bandaru Dattatreya, and other leaders here on Saturday.

Mr Dattatreya had visited Karimnagar to participate in the BJP district executive meeting. Before participating in the meeting, he addressed a press conference along with Mr. Vidyasagar Rao and other local leaders at R&B guest house. Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy was not invited for the press conference.

Irked by this, Mr Ramakrisha Reddy waited outside till the completion of the press conference. When the former Union Ministers and others were coming out of the press conference, Mr Ramakrishna Reddy shouted at the local leaders saying, "What do you think of yourself. Do you think I am State vice president or not. Why have you not informed me of the meeting and are playing politics here?''
