Venkateswaran wins 100m

CHENNAI, JUNE 13. R.B. Venkateswaran won the 100m race in the Men's Open category of the Jai Gopal Garodia state performance ranking athletic meet, organised by the SDAT, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday.

Boys (VII-IX): 100m: V. Vinoth (Dolphin Athletic Club), 11.99s; 800m: Punit J. Solanki (Rajiv Gandhi Athletic Club), 2:17.3 min. Long jump: R. Karthik (Vivekananda School): 5.62m. Discus: Deepak Narendran (Chettinad Vidyashram), 22.43m.
