AU opens centre for studies on Bay of Bengal

VISAKHAPATNAM, JUNE 13. Andhra University (AU) has started a Centre for Studies on Bay of Bengal.

According to the university spokesman, the centre, with the university's expert faculty and infrastructure, would promote inter-disciplinary research on Bay of Bengal, which formed an important ocean wing of the Indian continent, engulfing deltas of major rivers like Ganges, Krishna, Godavari and Cauvery.
