BIJAPUR, JUNE 14. Satyatmatheertha Swamiji of Uttaradhi Math said here today that restoring eyesight was the most valuable service that the physicians could offer. Speaking at the eye-operation camp organised as part of 26-day "jnana-yajna" under the aegis of Vishwa Madhwa Mahasabha, he lauded the free service offered by the ophthalmologists. Upendra Narsapur, noted eye surgeon, said that 38 people underwent cataract operations and were implanted with intra-ocular lenses free of cost.
