8 Collectors among 37 IAS officers shuffled

HYDERABAD, JUNE 14. In yet another major reshuffle, the State Government on Monday transferred 37 IAS officers, including seven Commissioners and eight district Collectors.

This is the second such exercise after Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy took over as the Chief Minister a month ago. Earlier, the Government transferred 30 IAS and 42 IPS officers.

The transfer of officers to senior positions includes G. Asok Kumar to the post of Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority, Sureshchand, Secretary, Irrigation and Bir Singh Persheera, Agriculture Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Agriculture.

The seven officers posted as Commissioners are: K. Raju (Rural Development), Manmohan Singh (Tribal Welfare), P.V. Satyanarayana Murthy (Horticulture), A.C. Punetha (Horticulture) A.R. Sukumara (Backward Classes Welfare), P. Krishnaiah (School Education) and M.V. Krishna Babu (Fisheries).

The eight new Collectors are: L. Premchandra Reddy (Ranga Reddy), S.S. Rawat (Chittoor), Udayalakshmi (Prakasam), B. Rajasekhar (Nellore), Praveen Prakash (Visakhapatnam), G. Nageswara Rao (Srikakulam), C. Parthasarathi (Karimnagar) and Jagadheeshwar (Mahbubagar).

The Joint Collectors are: V. Raghavendra Prasad (Chittoor), Syed Omar Jaleel (Warangal), B. Janardhan Reddy (Guntur), D. Kishore (East Godavari), V. Durgadas (Adilabad) and G. Ramnarayan Reddy (Karimnagar). Other who have been transferred are: Mukteshwara Rao has been posted as Joint Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, R.P. Sisodia, Director, eSeva, Lav Agarwal, Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister, Gulzar - Executive Assistant to the Chief Secretary, P. Bhanumurthy, Special Officer, Krishna Pushkarams, G. Anantha Ramu, Director, Technical Education, B. Venkateswara Rao, CEO, Rytu Bazaars, K. Ramgopal, Executive Director, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, K. Madhusudan Rao, Director, Breweries, A. Srikanth, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam, Sumita Dawra, Director, Sports and Sabyasachi Ghosh, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Kakinada.
