HYDERABAD, JUNE 14. With schools re-opening on Monday, several junctions in the twin cities witnessed traffic jams. It was complete chaos on the busy Abids and Secunderabad roads where many schools are located. At both the places, traffic came to a standstill for about 45 minutes. The entire stretch near the St. Ann's High school at Secunderabad was thrown out of gear and motorists were held up for more than half-an-hour as several autorickshaws and private vehicles with school children flooded these roads. Several parents, who decided to drop their children as it was the first day of school, were caught in the traffic snarls and the autorickshaws compounded their problems. Worsening the situation, many four-wheelers and autorickshaws were seen parked on the either side of the road near the schools, obstructing the flow of traffic. Traffic constables had a tough time in regulating the traffic. However, some parents complained that there were no traffic policemen in Secunderabad area, to regulate or divert the motorists.
