Resounding win for Yankees

UDHAGAMANDALAM, JUNE 15. Yankees Cricket Club scored a resounding eight-wicket win over an off-colour Pacers Cricket Club in the Indian Bank-Nilgiris District Cricket Association A division league for the M.A. Chidamabaram Rolling Trophy here.

The scores:

Pacers CC 69 (Arun K. Nair three for 9, Anil G. Bablani three for 11) lost to Yankees CC 71 for two in 9.5 overs.

All Stars Cricket Club 181 (V. Anand 43, R. Timothy Anthony 30) bt Nilgiris CC 142 (Shankar 26, Anand four for 28).

Yankees CC 178 (M. Ajith Kumar 32, A. Rajesh 28, N. Chandrasekhar 26, R. Anand five for 26) lost to Wonders XI CC 179 for five in 36 overs (V. Dharamvir Singh 98 not out).
