Santhosh bats well

MADURAI, JUNE 15. Santhosh Gopi's unbeaten 97 helped Freak CC register a two-wicket win over Customs & Central Excise in the Indian Bank - Madurai District Cricket Association first division `A' zone league here on Sunday.

The scores:

First division: `A' zone: Customs & Central Excise 155 in 38.3 overs (Vijayanand 27, Srinivasan 26, Kasi Viswanathan four for 30) lost to Freak 156 for eight in 32 overs (Santhosh Gopi 97 not out, Ruben three for 42).

`B' zone: Majestic Toddlers 134 in 40.5 overs (Robin 27) lost to Majestic Kids 135 for eight in 23.5 overs (Sikkander 35).
