Siddharth, Sivasankari win

RAJAPALAYAM, JUNE 15. R. Siddharth of Chennai and P. Sivasankari of Thiruvallur were crowned as champions in the boys' and girls' sections respectively in the 15th Tamil Nadu State under-17 chess championship conducted by Virudhunagar District Chess Association at Kamarajar Kalyana Mandapam here on Tuesday.

Uttam Sharma of Thiruvallur, who finished runner-up with 7 points in boys' section and Mahima Rajmohan, who was declared runner-up in girls' section, will represent Tamil Nadu in the ensuing under-17 National Championship at Maharashtra, along with the winners.
