Five-wicket haul for Vishnuvardhan

HYDERABAD, JUNE 15. Fine bowling by Ranji star S. Vishnuvardhan (five for 40) left BDL State Bank of India struggling at 165 for seven in reply to BDL's score of 400 for eight declared on the second day of the A-Division (three-day) league cricket championship match at ECIL Grounds here on Tuesday.

In another match, Arvind Shetty cracked 109 (14x4, 2x6) to enable India Cements score 333 against Evergreen.

The scores: At Gymkhana: India Cements 333 in 80.3 overs (G. Arvind Shetty 109, Nasser Ali 58, N. Arjun Yadav 32, Vikram Aggarwal four for 60, Ashwin Yadav three for 65) vs Evergreen 13 for one.

At RRC: SBH 352 for nine (Sri Hari 123, Praveen Kumar 43, Kushal P. Jilla 87, V.V.S. Appa Rao five for 73) vs SCRSA 158 for two (Suresh 71 not out, Balaji 53 not out).

At ECIL: BDL 400 for eight (Leo Brendon 131, Sashank Nag 62, Madhusudhan Raju 40, R.A. Vishwanath 61, S. Vishnuvardhan 37, Y.S. Rangannath three for 140) vs SBI 165 for seven (S.Vishnuvardhan five for 40).

At NFC Grounds: Andhra Bank 258 (D. Vinay Kumar 118 not out, Gopi 31, Alfred Absolom five for 52, Habib Ali three for 38) vs MP Colts 87 for two (Abhinav Kumar 34 batting).
